PCIT & Child Therapy

Therapy for children in California (ages 2–7) and their caregivers navigating emotional regulation, behavior challenges, and parent-child connection through evidence-based care like PCIT.

Early childhood is filled with big emotions and tricky transitions — from tantrums and aggression to difficulty adjusting at school or home. Often, these behaviors are a child’s way of expressing overwhelm, unmet needs, or disconnection. I offer developmentally informed child therapy that helps young children build emotional regulation skills while supporting caregivers in better understanding and responding to their child’s needs.

One of the main tools I use is Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an evidence-based approach for reducing disruptive behaviors and strengthening the parent-child relationship. During live coaching sessions, I guide caregivers in real time as they practice skills that increase warmth, cooperation, and emotional safety at home.

Whether your child is experiencing daily meltdowns, defiance, or you just feel like nothing is working, therapy can offer clarity, support, and a renewed sense of connection for your family.
